It was early morning. The sun had just began to rise over the Blackwater Bay. All seemed well as the Union army made its rounds. One Union solidier was assigned to watch the west entrance and question any suspicious charecters who may have came into town. What an unfortunate task for this young man because right as the sun rose over the town four horsemen came speeding towards him. "Who are you?" he asked but was answered only by gunshots. The war had begun. The horsemen moved quickly through town slaughtering the union soliders. One solidier was on the roof of the theater planning and shooting the men from afar little did he know that the Confederate Colonel was sneaking on to the roof to confront him. Theere the union solidier was beat to death by the butt of a Henry Riffle. After that the Confederate Col. demanded his men to claim the harbor. All the rebel rushed the harbor holding it to the best of there ability. after they had raised the Confederate battle flag they moved to the near by police station. Holding the Union off valiantly the Confederate Col. took a bullet to the chest and was down. Jimmy Dalson the Col. right hand man came to his aide putting him on the back of his horse and ordering the horse to go home. The Confederates now had to fight without there fearless leader. However Dalson quickly assesed the situation and with the help of Kenny Reed they knew exactly how to win the battle. Driving the Union to hide on the rooftops Dalson and Reed comanded the rebel army and ceased the town by sunset Blackwater was flying the Confederate Battle flag. The Confederates had drove the American Army out of BLackwater but the war had just begun.
